Sony's PlayStation Portable
Over the years I have acquired a variety of PlayStation Paraphernalia. As the collection grew, some of the main units have either gone faulty or purchased broken and repaired. From the buttons not responding, joysticks moving on their own, broken screens, or even just not plain powering on becuause of an issue on one of the boards. This led me to popping them open and fixing my cherishable handhelds.
I have a lot, so gradually over time I shall post more, thisis it for now, as I am busy with work and other projects (and when I feel its enough, this note shall magically disappear).
PSP-1000 (2004)
The very first PSP and the one that started the hype. It’s heavier and feels great to hold. Compared to its younger siblings, it lacks a bright screen, and the imaging of it is not something to talk about. The help with a IPS display mod will fix this and will easily be back on top.

PSP-2000 (2007)
A slimmer, lighter redesign that fixed load times, battery life, screen brightness, and portability. Some say this is the “sweet spot” version, others do not bother.

The most unique PSP—no UMD, all digital, and a sliding design that still feels futuristic. Collectors love the compact size, Bluetooth support, and onboard storage.
